Zachary Joanos

Zachary is a Tallahassee native who graduated from Godby High School in 2007. While attending Godby, Zachary was a multisport athlete earning 16 varsity letters while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. He completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Geospatial Information Science in 2011 from the United States Military Academy at Westpoint, NY.

Zachary served honorably in the military as a Field Artillery Officer until transitioning to the U.S. Army Reserves as a Captain in 2016. As a reservist, he branch transferred to Logistics and resigned his commission as a Major in 2022. Zachary has multiple deployments both to Afghanistan and Iraq, and is a Bronze Star recipient.

In 2016, Zachary moved back to Tallahassee, FL to homestead and begin focusing on raising his family. He completed his Master’s of Science in Geographic Information Science from Florida State University (FSU) in 2017, prior to deploying to Iraq in 2018. Upon returning from Iraq, he began his career in construction management at Shaffield Building Specialties under the tutelage of Jennings Knox.

In 2023, Zachary built the FSU Indoor Practice Facility Annex building in preparation for the new FSU Football Operations Facility under the mentorship of Van Champion. Following completion of the Annex building in January of 2024, Zachary transitioned to Bill’s Signs & Service to begin his new role in the sign construction industry.

Theo is a Tallahassee native who graduated from Leon High School. Upon graduation he enrolled at TCC and then transferred to Florida State University where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity.

Theo was involved in the family restaurant growing up (Manny’s and The Penalty Box) before moving to Los Angeles, CA in 1998 to begin a career in the automotive industry. Theo moved to Miami in 2002 where he started working at The Collection and was recruited in 2005 to a luxury car dealership in Naples for their Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Bentley, Maserati, and Rolls Royce franchises.

In 2013, he moved back to Tallahassee and became an entrepreneur of his own automotive paint supply business. While operating his own business, Theo became a certified personal trainer and started a new career in the Personal Fitness industry. Theo has trained dozens of clients at both the YouFit Health Clubs and his own private fitness center, helping them to become healthier, stronger, and live a better all-around lifestyle.

William Scott

William Scott

Chief Operations Officer

William Scott is a Tallahassee native who graduated from Florida High. After high school, he attended community college at Santa Fe, until transferring to the University of Florida (UF). William graduated from UF in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design.

Following graduation, WIlliam worked in the hospitality and entertainment industry in both Orlando and Miami. In 2013, he moved back to Tallahassee to work for Leon County Schools. While at Leon County Schools, Will earned the respect of his mentors and quickly moved up through the rank. Will transitioned to Bill’s Signs & Service, Inc. in 2023 to begin learning the sign business and prepare for ownership.

Bruce Screws

Bruce is a Florida native, and a Godby Graduate. He began his career in the Sign Business while in High School working part time for his father Bill Screws, founder of Bill‘s Signs in 1969. Bruce took over the company from his father in 1980, and began building Bill’s Signs & Service, Inc. over a 45-year period. Bruce was one of the first individuals to get his state certified Electrical Sign Contractor license in the early 2000s, ES12000087.

Bruce is a veteran, having served time in Germany during the Cold War, and receiving an Honorable Discharge as a Sergeant in the Supply discipline in the U.S. Army. Following his time in the Active service, Bruce moved back to Tallahassee and began running Bill’s Signs with his father and Older Brother.

Bruce is a proud member, and previous board director, of the Tallahassee 100 club. He is also an Amos P. Godby Alumni Hall of Fame recipient, and an avid supporter of many student athlete programs. Bruce has been happily married to his loving wife Sandra for over 40 years and has two sons BJ and Trevor Screws.

Amanda is the best thing since sliced bread. She has over 10 years of administrative experience. Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills. She is well versed in training employees, developing procedure manuals, and coordinating/delegating tasks.

Project Manager

Holli has a background in construction project estimating and management, specializing in Divisions 08 and 10. She learned under the tutelage of Jennings Knox and Bryan Chatham at Shaffield Building Specialties. She is a hard worker, with great attention to detail skills, and a team player. Holli is a valued member of the CSB family.
